Casio is a multinational company manufacturing electronic devices including GPS watches with its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. The company was founded in 1946 and is one of the leading world’s manufacturers of electronics probably best known for its calculators and audio/video equipment as well as for manufacturing computerized multi-function watches. Casio introduced the first wrist watch with built-in GPS in 1999 called the Pathfinder.
Since 1999 Casio introduced several Pathfinder models and series. The prices range from $200 to $550 for Casio Sea Pathfinder Diver Watch SPF100S-1V. The most expensive “on land” Casio Pathfinder is the PAW2000T-7V model which costs $450 and features slim design - 11,5 mm thin, Duplex LCD, 6 solar atomic and triple sensor technology, sunrise/sunset times, digital compass, altimeter, barometer, thermometer and variety of other functions and is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). Very popular is also the PAW1300T-7V featuring multi-band 5 atomic timekeeping, digital compass, altimeter, thermometer, tough solar power and variety of other functions as well as thin design - 11,5 mm. You might also like the PAW1500T-7V which has very good reviews and is suitable for the most extreme sports. It is a combination of Pathfinder and Sea Pathfinder and features multi-band atomic timekeeping, digital compass, tide graph, altimeter, barometer, thermometer and variety of other functions and is water resistant to 200 meters (660 feet).
